We are both so thankful for our new friendship with Brian and his wife Dawn for making this possible and dedicating their time to be guides for visually impaired athletes.
Instagram post 2191895268707256714_2235323737 We are staying at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and after Scott finished some appointments today we got to spend the rest of the day exploring DC. We visited The White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, and the Capital Building.

Scotts favorite was the Capital Building, and it didn’t feel real that we were standing outside where so much is happening inside.

We are thankful for so many things as we reflect on the last year such as the places we traveled, people we’ve met, and all the memories made during our first year of marriage, but most of all especially thankful for this healthy little baby growing in my belly. I told Scott go get dressed so we can take a picture and he said I wasn’t specific on what to wear. 🤣
