This book was recommended to me by a school psychologist who is also a Navy veteran and I am now recommending it to everyone. This is also my first post related to working with adults and coincidently the only version available at the local library was in large print. The book is called Flags of Our Fathers by James Bradley.

I told this psychologist I was going to be doing an internship at a veterans hospital and she said this would be an enjoyable, quick, and easy read about American history.

On the cover is one of the most famous pictures from World War II and the author is a son of one of the men photographed. The book is about the lives of the men pictured and the authors quest to learn as much as possible about each man.
