Itinerant Teaching: Tricks of the Trade for Teachers of Students with Visual Impairments, Second Edition

As I began the process of preparing to start my new career I decided to order this book I had come across for a resource assignment earlier in the school year. This book is written for itinerant teachers of students with visual impairments and not specifically O&M, but still offers SO many great tips that I might not have to “learn the hard way” because of reading this ahead of time.

I have already stuck tabs on multiple pages and highlighted important notes about the role of an itinerant service provider working with students of all ages and abilities. The name of the book alone sold me and it really does provide the information the title implies.

The book is available through the AFB Press and is written by Jean E. Olmstead.
