I created this activity as a way to get to know some of my students and break the ice when meeting them for the first time.

I created some flash cards with facts I thought would be good to learn about each of them and I used them like a deck of cards. I had the students pull a card at random one at a time to make it fun. The flash cards can also be modified to accommodate students who read Braille!

I then had the students write the facts about themselves in a book I could keep to remember all the information. One student even wrote down my answers and kept the book about Ms. Ashley.
