designed these activities for my last lessons with students, but these ideas can be used anytime a student develops a new skill and is ready to learn something new.
This is a sit down lesson designed to review scanning patterns for street crossings in both directions.
This lesson was designed for an advanced junior high student learning visual scanning.
This is an activity designed for a preschool student learning upper body protective technique.
This is a lesson I designed that luckily can be used for more than purpose. For each student I wrote a few sentences that apply to their goals and deleted the key words. At the beginning of a lesson I can tell my student, "I have written a story with missing words and we are going to walk around campus to locate and read the words that complete the story."
Sometimes students need to take breaks during lessons and I developed this activity to be done either during a break or during an indoor/sit down lesson to practice v-tech.
