When I thought about modifying the classic game of Twister my main goal was to give all of my students a way to play a very visual game despite what their visual impairment is (and who doesn’t love a good round of Twister?!).
August brings the last few weeks of summer vacation blended with back to school shopping and preparing for the new school year.

I’ve been using these sensory bottles as rewards for my low vision students. If they do a good job during the lesson, I’ll let them play with the bottles for a few minutes when the lesson is over. It adds a little variety to scented stickers and high fives. If you have older students, it can be fun to make the sensory bottles with them!
This is a board game I created for a fun O&M lesson that also sneaks in a lesson about traffic signs.
